About The Position
Harbour Village is seeking a compassionate Quality of Life Specialist to provide personal care and support to residents in an assisted living or memory care setting. The role includes helping residents with daily personal care, mealtime assistance, assigned shift duties, activities, and timely responses to call lights and emergencies. This is a PM shift position from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., including every other weekend. Part-time and full-time schedules are available.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least one year of experience working as a CNA, PCA, HHA, or RA.
- CBRF certification and experience.
- At least one year of steady work history at the same job.
- Assisted living or memory care experience in a facility.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinence care, and foot care.
- Take vital signs and perform height and weight checks according to policy.
- Assist residents during mealtimes by cutting food and encouraging them to eat.
- Complete and document assigned shift duties; report uncompleted duties to the nursing supervisor.
- Communicate with residents, families, department heads, and the Director of Resident Services as needed.
- Provide activities as planned or directed.
- Respond to call lights and emergencies in a timely manner.
