About The Position
We are looking for a part-time 'Quality of Life Coordinator' (Activity Coordinator) who is compassionate, friendly, outgoing, and has a passion for seniors. We believe that a great activity program increases the quality of life of the residents we care for each day and are looking for someone who feels the same. The Cottages provides care for our senior population to help them live safely and independently in a home-like setting. We only want people who want to love on our seniors.
Requirements
- GREAT ATTITUDE , one of compassion and a sincere desire to help others
- Ability to take direction, follow rules exactly, be proactive and thoughtful
- Successful completion of a Criminal History check
- Pass the post-offer drug test
- Be able to lift at least 50lbs
- Be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities
- Creating a fun environment for our residents
- Plan activities in the home and in the community
- Create monthly activity calendars
- Create personalized and group activities for all residents
- Oversee activity petty cash
- Coordinate external vendors for entertainment
- Help coordinate and plan special events
