About The Position
This role involves performing dimensional and visual inspections of machined components, assemblies, and finished products. The inspector will utilize high-precision measurement tools and techniques, interpret engineering drawings with GD&T, and document any non-conformances.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Manual inspections to identify surface defects using micrometers, calipers, height gauges and optical comparators.
- Experience with engines such as springs, valves and fasteners
- Interpret Blueprints, GD&T experience per ASME/ANSI standards.
- Documenting defects and creating Non-Conforming Material Reports
- 2 years’ experience in a Quality Control environment.
- Experience with machined components in all phases of inspection, including receiving
- Proven experience with manual inspection techniques and tools.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
Nice To Haves
- Experience with engine parts is a plus
- CMM experience is a plus
