About The Position

The Quality Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of the quality department, ensuring adherence to the Quality Management System (QMS) and regulatory standards. This role drives product quality, compliance, and continuous improvement while coordinating cross-functional efforts to meet customer expectations and internal performance metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Business preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing employees in a production environment with quality-focused responsibilities required
  • Experience managing or maintaining a QMS for ISO9001 and/or AS9100 certification required
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ISO standards
  • Experience with CAPA, MRB, auditing, and supplier quality management
  • Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to motivate and influence across all levels of the organization
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
  • Requires mobility and physical reflexes to operate within production areas
  • May require extended periods of standing or sitting
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • May require pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and lifting
  • This position may include access to information that is subject to U.S. export controls. Responsibilities

  • Perform assigned duties in accordance with documented procedures and work instructions
  • Promote a Safety-First culture and actively participate in safety initiatives, audits, and committee activities
  • Provide visible leadership through daily team engagement and regular presence on the manufacturing floor
  • Establish and manage key quality metrics, including data collection, analysis, and reporting systems
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving efforts
  • Establish and manage CAPA review board for customer complaint oversight
  • Establish and manage Material Review Board (MRB) processes
  • Monitor inspection and packaging activities to ensure on-time delivery performance
  • Coordinate staffing and resources to meet production and quality demands
  • Develop and maintain SOPs and training documentation
  • Manage internal and external audit findings and drive corrective actions
  • Oversee supplier quality performance and conduct supplier audits
  • Ensure calibration of critical instruments per schedule and compliance with ISO requirements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Operations, Engineering, and Sales to align quality objectives
