About The Position

The Quality Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) programs across commercial construction projects. This role ensures that all construction activities meet company standards, client specifications, and applicable codes. The Quality Manager works closely with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to maintain high-quality construction outcomes, drive process improvements, and ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in quality management or QA/QC roles within commercial construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, codes, standards, and best practices.
  • Experience developing and implementing QA/QC programs for commercial construction projects.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and review construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to quality and safety.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams and client representatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide quality management policies, procedures, and standards for commercial construction projects.
  • Oversee project-specific QA/QC plans, including inspections, testing, and compliance monitoring.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to design documents, specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams, superintendents, subcontractors, and design professionals to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Review submittals, shop drawings, mock-ups, and material samples for compliance with project requirements.
  • Monitor and document quality performance metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain comprehensive quality records, reports, and documentation for internal and client review.
  • Provide training and mentorship to project staff on quality standards, best practices, and inspection protocols.
  • Support project closeout activities, including final inspections, punch lists, and commissioning documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction across all projects.
