About The Position

The Quality Manager develops, maintains, and improves systems that ensure aerospace products meet customer specifications and reliability standards. The role owns the AS9100 quality management system, the audit program, and customer quality resolution. The Quality Manager reports to the Plant Manager and can make an immediate impact on quality systems and metrics at the facility.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
Experience managing a quality program in aerospace, including ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 Rev D.
Experience with AS9102 first article inspection and AS9145 (aerospace APQP/PPAP).
Knowledge of Lean and Kaizen techniques.
Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Superior written and oral communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with NADCAP, FAA Parts 145/21, DCMA, and DMIR/DAR.

Responsibilities

Own and improve the AS9100 Rev D quality management system, work instructions, and procedures.
Ensure compliance with AS9100 Rev D and customer standards through internal audits.
Manage NADCAP special-process accreditation and FAA inspection requirements where applicable.
Own first article inspection (AS9102) and aerospace APQP/PPAP (AS9145) for new and changed parts.
Develop and analyze statistical data to validate customer and company requirements.
Manage the corrective action program and represent the company in customer and regulatory audits.
Resolve customer quality and non-conforming issues.
Report on delivered quality, scrap, rework, first pass yield, and corrective-action timeliness.
