About The Position

Kokosing is seeking a Project Based QC Manager responsible for planning, directing, supervising, and implementing project quality control activities in compliance with applicable company standards and programs. This role will be situated onsite in Point Pleasant, WV or Shippingport, PA. Requirements

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent combinations of technical training and experience.
• 4+ years of related/applicable experience in quality control.
• Thorough working knowledge of regulatory agency quality assurance/quality control activities.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills required.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and strong interpersonal skills are requisite.
• Ability to work independently or as a member of a team.
• Strong work ethic to complete tasks in a high-quality manner.
• Solid attention to detail with the ability to be a problem solver.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality control procedures (work controlling documents) and review other department procedures for compliance and/or correctness.
• Prepare, obtain approval, issue, and implement the company quality control (assurance) program manual in compliance with owner contract and company requirements.
• Perform activities such as audits and preparation of quality problems as required by the quality control program manual.
• Provide administrative and technical direction to all quality control personnel.
• Act as a liaison with the owner, regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and/or internal departments on quality-related matters as required.
• Ensure company standards as outlined in the quality control (assurance) manual are effectively implemented.
• Ensure adequate corrective measures are implemented in case of noncompliance.
• Assist in the preparation of responses to RFQ’s and RFP’s regarding QA and QC programs.
• Perform internal/external audits to ensure quality control requirements are implemented and/or maintained.
