About The Position

Drive quality projects and implement improvements to manufacturing processes. Act as the primary liaison with customers, regulatory bodies, and government agencies for audits and quality issues. Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Manual, internal work instructions, and procedures; audit and approve subcontractors. Review job status, customer specifications, and recommend technical solutions. Collaborate with Production Control, Engineering, and customers on alloy, casting design, and tooling topics. Manage staff responsible for quality planning, raw material release, and final product certification. Oversee Level III NDT Examiner for personnel qualification, special process certifications, and audits. Serve as Management Representative for ISO-9001 & AS9100 compliance. Stay current with industry advancements through technical literature review. Provide leadership, guidance, and performance oversight to quality teams while maintaining discipline and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering (preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in technical or operations roles, ideally in casting and aerospace manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage technical resources and interact with customers, engineering, and operations on complex issues.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Stand, walk, twist, turn, talk, and/or hear.
  • Occasionally sit, kneel, stoop, bend, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Meet attendance standards.

  • Perform physical functions of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Work overtime as needed and meet attendance standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
