Our Values: Ownership, Accountability, Integrity, Feedback, Empathy, Openness Position Overview: The Quality Manager will oversee the activity of the quality assurance department and staff, developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organization's products and/or development processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field or the equivalent combination of education, functional training, and experience required.
  • 3-5 years experience in Quality including 1-3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Reading and understanding industry standards.
  • Technical procedure development.
  • Writing reports and policies for health and safety.
  • Desire to learn and grow with the company.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry.
  • Must be able to traverse the operations facility
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Government Source Inspection (GSI) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance to ISO 9001 and ISO 17025.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality procedures and processes throughout the entire company.
  • Lead internal and external QMS audits.
  • Collect, record, and analyze manufacturing performance data, customer feedback, and other quality data.
  • Use several different methods to solve problems, reduce risk, and implement solutions to decrease mistakes and increase throughput in both production and the office.
  • Monitor and Maintain the Approved Supplier List
  • Notify Suppliers of Rejections
  • Complete Quality Related Questionnaires (i.e. Conflict Minerals, etc.)
  • Support Inspectors at all Divisions
  • Maintain Eye Exam Logs
  • Lead all Customer Source Inspections
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
