Ensures adherence to international standards, regulatory requirements, internal audit requirements and defined policies and procedures. Manages and implements programs to establish and maintain quality standards of existing products and services, as well as developing programs to focus employees on quality improvement. Develops policies, procedures and methods to check product, material, components and/or operational quality and improve same. Oversees the planning, facilitating and/or execution of internal, customer, supplier or certification audits. Ensures corrective actions specific to non-conformance and audit results are appropriately robust and sustainable to maintain certifications. Trains and mentors employees in continuous improvement techniques and the quality management system.
