About The Position

The Interior Systems Quality manager is responsible for understanding and delivering all NA current model quality and spend targets within the Interior Systems commodity. The role also leads an Americas-based team performing detailed data analysis for warranty repairs and spend. This position works integrally with the design and release teams to develop specific design actions and with the manufacturing team to improve processes related to quality performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 10 years of automotive quality experience.
• 5 years of body interior/exterior systems in an automotive domain.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in Engineering.
• DFMEA/PFMEA Experience.
• Six Sigma Background/Green Belt/Black Belt.
• Root Cause Analysis Experience.
• Manufacturing Experience.
• Product Design Experience.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of all Quality Data for Ford NA Interior Systems Engineering Warranty.
• Development of Action Plans to address current model quality issues and achieve quality goals.
• Engagement with key Suppliers for Root Cause Analysis.
• Delivery of Supplier Recovery Initiatives.
• Lead Cost per Repair improvement Initiatives.
• Management of Interior Systems Current Model Quality and Campaign Prevention teams.
