The Quality Manager in Projects is responsible for project quality within the Electrification and Automation business unit. This role involves leading customer-facing quality management responsibilities for large industrial end-users, data center, or semiconductor clients. The Quality Manager will collaborate closely with the project execution team to ensure customer quality management requirements are met and to oversee the development, control, and implementation of a quality plan. This includes quality assurance measures such as reviews, testing, validation, internal audits, and customer complaint management. The role also requires ensuring cross-functional cooperation with Procurement, Logistics, R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, and relevant suppliers to achieve quality business goals. A project-specific management system, including documentation, regulations, methods, and IT tools, will be adapted and provided using a risk-based approach. The Quality Manager will ensure professional non-conformance (NC) management, coach project team members in agile/lean methods, and ensure the implementation of quality improvement methods and process performance management (e.g., 8D, RCA, FMEA). The role involves selecting innovative digital solutions to enhance project quality and ensuring the implementation and improvement of project quality reporting as an integrated part of project reporting. Contribution to project planning is essential to ensure quality-relevant requirements are considered from the sales phase. The Quality Manager will also initiate training for project employees on quality-related topics (e.g., methods and processes) and advise on or conduct quality-related methodology/tools, including risk management, lessons learned, Quality Gates, NC management, and root cause analysis.
