Requirements

• Licensed with current Registration to practice as Registered Professional Nurse in NYS is required
• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required
• Experience in Hospice or Quality Management/Performance Improvement
• Knowledge of application of Statistical Processes Control Tools, Cops and NYS DOH Regulations

Responsibilities

• Performing chart auditing and focus studies
• Assisting the Director of Quality Management with the analysis and dissemination of data
• Participating in Quality Improvement activities & programs in hospice and organization
• Participating in QAPI Committee and RCAs
• Participates in CMS mandated Quality reporting HIS & CAHPS
• Maintaining current knowledge of regulatory bodies and standards related to Hospice delivery of services
• Educates staff regarding quality improvement, regulatory and accrediting body issues
