Then we have an opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for a Quality Lead located at our manufacturing facility in Huntersville, NC.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 4+ years of experience in manufacturing quality, QA, or production environment (foam, thermoforming, injection molding, or similar preferred if no degree).
  • Strong working knowledge of GMP and BRCGS standards, including audit readiness and documentation requirements.
  • Experience conducting audits, inspections, and internal quality reviews in a plant environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word, with the ability to maintain logs, databases, and reports.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to train, coach, and support production and quality staff on quality standards and expectations.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance, GMP, and BRCGS standards across all plant operations
  • Lead and perform routine audits and inspections of production processes and employee work activities
  • Maintain and control quality documentation, records, SOPs, and databases to support compliance and audits
  • Oversee quality holds, product dispositions, AQLs, and tracking to protect product integrity
  • Partner with production and leadership teams to identify quality gaps and drive continuous improvement
  • Deliver quality training and ongoing coaching to production and quality staff
  • Provide day to day leadership support to the quality team, including audit preparation and coverage
  • Conduct regular audits of equipment usage, sanitation, employee work practices, and process controls
  • Perform monthly internal site inspections and compile findings and corrective actions for plant leadership
  • Review production documentation, logs, inspection sheets, and processing records for accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain daily quality hold and rework databases, ensuring timely updates and proper documentation
  • Prepare quality paperwork and documentation ahead of production changeovers and schedule changes
  • Participate in product testing and inspections using appropriate measurement tools and equipment
  • Provide quality leadership support and coverage, including periodic night shift oversight as needed
