About The Position

The Quality Lab Technician will be responsible for routine inspection activities, documentation and recordkeeping, issue identification and escalation, compliance with procedures, collaboration and communication, and support for continuous improvement. This role requires a technical or vocational certification or equivalent experience, 1-2 years of experience in quality inspection or production support, and a basic understanding of inspection tools and quality documentation practices. The technician must have basic proficiency in English and fluency in the local language, with strong attention to detail, good communication and teamwork skills, and a willingness to learn.

Requirements

  • Technical or Vocational Certification or equivalent experience in a manufacturing or technical environment.
  • 1–2 years of experience in quality inspection or production support roles.
  • Basic understanding of inspection tools and quality documentation practices.
  • Basic proficiency in English and fluency in the local language.
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the quality function.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct visual and basic dimensional inspections using standard tools (e.g., rulers, gauges, templates).
  • Verify that products meet defined specifications and report any deviations.
  • Accurately complete inspection checklists and quality records.
  • Ensure traceability and proper documentation of inspection outcomes.
  • Identify visible defects or inconsistencies and escalate to supervisors or quality engineers.
  • Support initial containment actions when non-conformities are detected.
  • Follow established work instructions, inspection procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Ensure adherence to internal quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure smooth inspection flow.
  • Communicate clearly about inspection results and quality concerns.
  • Provide feedback on recurring issues or process inefficiencies.
  • Participate in basic improvement initiatives as requested.
