Responsibilities: Monitoring the quality of brewing and cellaring materials as well as other raw materials in accordance with CFIA guidelines Operate various laboratory equipment, monitor equipment and test through use of control samples. Take measurements and conduct standardized tests on beer/wort to ensure compliance with Muskoka Brewery quality standards; factors such as gravity and pH level Maintain quality control records of production throughout various processes. Support the QA Manager in ensuring the brewery food safety program is in compliance with CFIA and third-party accreditation requirements. Support communication and training on requirements to brewery team members when needed. Clean and maintain equipment and utensils to make sure quality standards are met. Document test results and communicate with management and co-associates of deviations. Contribute and direct follow-up of product testing, deviations, and trends. Assist production associates with line & product monitoring as required. Perform QC tasks including product sampling, line monitoring, sampling, and performance lab testing. Safely, efficiently, and effectively work to attain department and brewery goals and objectives.
