About The Position

This position is responsible for communicating and supporting JM core values and delivering the JM experience. The Quality Technician will have the responsibilities of performing lab functions to include running quality assurance tests and in-process and finished goods quality checks. Qualified candidates must be able to work any of the following shifts: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am - and will also be expected to work overtime, and rotate shifts as needed.

Requirements

Quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong math skills
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office
Self-Motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
General knowledge of computers with the ability to navigate various programs.
High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong comprehension skills
Able to work flexible schedule to include possible overtime
Willingness to work in non-temperature-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

Collect samples, perform QA test on finished and incoming goods, following all test methods and specifications.
Make dispositions on raw materials, returned goods, and daily production
Participate in writing work instructions and continuous improvement efforts
Complete required quality reporting and perform data analysis
Perform and complete other work as assigned by supervisor and assist other departments as needed
Responsible for quality performance on designated work shift
