About The Position

You’ll play a vital role in our Quality team by ensuring the quality and quantity of work and product produced, completing assigned tasks, and properly caring for and using equipment. You will prepare test specimens and perform tests to ensure conformance to Vallourec Star, API, ASTM or other standards. Testing shall include mechanical testing including yield and tensile, Charpy impact, hardness, and other tests as required. You will be responsible for the communication of test results and maintenance of test data, as well as all other tasks assigned by your supervisor.

Requirements

• Observe safety rules and wear required safety equipment while on the job, such as a hard hat, steel toe boots, safety glasses, face shields, and hearing protection.
• Adherence to department policies, procedures, practices, and specifications.
• Working normal shift schedule and hours, as required.
• Also, any extended work schedule or days and/or hours as required.

• All other tasks assigned by supervisor.
