About The Position

As Quality Lab Technician of the Sparta team, you will be involved in the Prototype process and Testing requirements related to New Launch Product and ECNs to include FG Product, WIP, and Materials. The Sparta core Product entails Marine Industry Fuel Systems, Steering, and Controls. The Quality Lab Technician will support the Product approval / validation process via a Sparta “Blue Pack” process along with Customer specific PPAP requirements. The Quality Lab Technician will demonstrate the ability to support other functional areas, work in a Team environment, and independently, as necessary. This position requires attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

Lead the Prototype validation process to ensure Product measurement, configuration, and testing conforms to Dometic-Sparta and Customer requirements.
Review and Approve Production assembly and kitting of Prototype Product.
Fulfill Dometic-Sparta Blue Pack and Customer specific PPAP requirements.
In addition to scheduled Lab Testing, will perform random Quality Testing of required Product.
Document all Quality Lab Testing results and communicate any failures to appropriate Team Members.
Maintain cleanliness of Quality Lab.
May be required to assist with other duties, as needed.
