About The Position

This role is responsible for establishing and publishing weekly inventory count, spot audit, and quality audit schedules. The specialist will communicate and coordinate these schedules daily with Warehouse Supervisors to ensure necessary resources are allocated. They will also direct the work of personnel assigned to audits and counts, and provide daily written and electronic reports of analysis and statistics from these audits. A key responsibility includes spot auditing unloading, receiving, checking, locating, packing, and shipping personnel for all accounts, documenting results in an Excel spreadsheet. The specialist will interact with supervisors and leads to identify trends or areas needing corrective action and must respond to emails promptly.

  • Strong skills in word processing and spreadsheet applications
  • Working knowledge of inventory quality control requirements, and industry standards.
  • Highly organized and pays close attention to detail.
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • 5 or more years of related work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • 5 or more years of industry related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes and publishes weekly inventory count, spot audit, and quality audit schedules.
  • Communicates and coordinates inventory count, spot audit, and quality audit schedules with Warehouse Supervisors daily.
  • Directs the work of any personnel assigned to the quality audits and/or inventory counts by the Warehouse Supervisors.
  • Provides daily written and electronic copies of analysis and statistics of inventory count and quality audits results.
  • Spot audits unloading, receiving, checking, locating, packing, and shipping personnel for all accounts and documents the results in an Excel spreadsheet.
  • Interacts with supervisors and leads to help identify trends, processes, or people that require corrective action.
  • Reads and responds to all emails in a timely fashion.
