About The Position

This role is responsible for establishing and managing inventory and quality audit schedules, communicating these schedules to warehouse supervisors, and directing personnel involved in these audits. The specialist will analyze and report on audit results, conduct spot audits of various warehouse operations, and collaborate with supervisors and leads to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, the role requires timely email communication and adherence to industry standards for inventory quality control.

Requirements

• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have excellent audit skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities.
• Must have the ability to work in a cooperative, team oriented environment.
• Strong skills in word processing and spreadsheet applications.
• Working knowledge of inventory quality control requirements, and industry standards.
• Must be highly organized and pay close attention to detail.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 5 or more years of related work experience.

Nice To Haves

• 5 or more years of industry related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and publishes weekly inventory count, spot audit, and quality audit schedules.
• Communicates and coordinates inventory count, spot audit, and quality audit schedules with Warehouse Supervisors daily.
• Directs the work of any personnel assigned to the quality audits and/or inventory counts by the Warehouse Supervisors.
• Provides daily written and electronic copies of analysis and statistics of inventory count and quality audits results.
• Spot audits unloading, receiving, checking, locating, packing, and shipping personnel for all accounts and documents the results in an Excel spreadsheet.
• Interacts with supervisors and leads to help identify trends, processes, or people that require corrective action.
• Reads and responds to all emails in a timely fashion.
