You will be responsible for the storge, organization, identification, and safe transport of materials for the Quality Department.

Requirements

  • Use of all required PPE while working
  • The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk or hear; and use hands to finger, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee must occasionally climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds while wearing gloves and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • The employee is regularly required to use written and oral communication skills; read and interpret data, information and documents; analyze and solve problems; use math and mathematical reasoning; observe and interpret situations; learn and apply new information or skills, and interact with other employees, customers and vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Washing parts
  • Parts that require degreasing will be transported to the wash area and cleaned before delivery to production
  • Material Handling
  • Detrashing and preparation of incoming RMA and NCR material for storage and movement through the process
  • Relocating material onto pallets when needed, for sake of visibility or safe handling
  • Physically disposing of scrap product and broken or unsuitable pallets
  • Physically moving RMA and NCR material throughout plant as directed
  • Maintaining safe and uncluttered inventory and assembly delivery areas
  • Use of all required PPE while working
  • Other duties as assigned
