About The Position

MSI Express is a leading manufacturing and contract packaging partner trusted by top CPG brands, as well as emerging and private label brands. This is a 10-week internship program during Summer 2027, running Monday through Friday for approximately 8 hours per day, totaling 40 hours per week. The pay rate is $19.00/hour. This role is not eligible for benefits. The internship program is designed for interns to make an impact from day one, working on real business challenges, partnering with leaders across the company, and developing and implementing solutions. The experience culminates in a presentation to senior leadership highlighting results and recommendations. Interns will work on impactful projects, tackle meaningful business challenges, engage with cross-functional teams, learn from business leaders, and develop leadership skills.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Interest in food safety, quality assurance, and manufacturing systems.
Ability to analyze data and identify trends.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Currently enrolled in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related academic program.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

Assist the Quality team in maintaining food safety and quality standards across manufacturing operations.
Participate in product inspections, audits, testing activities, and documentation reviews.
Analyze quality performance metrics and support corrective and preventive action initiatives.
Assist in investigating customer complaints, process deviations, and non-conformances.
Support projects focused on strengthening food safety, quality systems, and operational compliance.
