•Onsite

About The Position

As a Quality Intern at MacLean-Fogg, you will connect classroom learning with the products and processes of a manufacturing business. Working with quality professionals, engineers, and production teams, you will learn requirements, investigate problems, and help improve product and process consistency. You will own a meaningful project with guidance from an experienced team and present your work, findings, and recommendations to facility leadership at the end of the program. Assignments vary by manufacturing facility and may involve quality engineering and problem-solving; measurement, inspection, and testing; quality data and process improvement; quality systems and documentation; or supplier and customer quality. Not every assignment is available at every location, and prior experience in these areas is not required. This is a 10-week, full-time, on-site summer internship in Whitewater, Wisconsin, with a possible extension of up to two weeks based on business needs and intern availability. The program starts Tuesday, May 25, 2027, with limited flexibility for academic calendars. The position pays $28.00 per hour. At approved locations, eligible interns may receive a one-time $3,000 taxable housing allowance, subject to distance, temporary housing, and other eligibility conditions. The role requires following safety procedures, required training, and instructions for manufacturing and laboratory areas. Work takes place in office and manufacturing environments, where noise, temperature variation, and airborne particulates may be present. The hiring process includes an application, Criteria assessments, review, recruiter screen, and a 45-minute hiring-team interview. An offer is conditional on required pre-employment screening, including a drug screen; a criminal background check may also be required depending on the role.
