Quality Intern (Summer 2027)
About The Position
This is a Summer Intern position in Quality Engineering, located in Valencia, CA. The internship will run from May to August 2027, with full-time hours of 40 per week. The intern will assist Quality Engineers with various activities, including participating in Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action for customer returns or fabrication issues, and developing and documenting work instructions for fabrication and assembly. Other related tasks may be assigned. Safety is a core value at ITT, and employees are expected to adhere to all safety policies and procedures. This position requires access to information subject to ITAR regulations, meaning applicants must be U.S. persons.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering program (BS/MS/PhD), in good standing
- Knowledge of statistical analysis
- Problem Solving skill
- Knowledge/experience in CAD, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Must be a U.S. person as defined by ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee)
Responsibilities
- Assist Quality Engineers with Quality engineering activities

- Develop and document work instruction for fabrication and assembly
