We are currently looking for a Quality Inspector for our Production area in Forest, MS location. These are Onsite roles in Forest, MS.

Requirements

  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working in Product Inspection or Manufacturing Quality Assurance.
  • Experience in working in a Manufacturing or Depot Repair Environment.
  • Experience in drawing or blueprint reading.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Experience using basic inspection Hand tools (Calipers, Micrometers, Inspection scopes, etc.).
  • Experience working in Quality Inspection
  • Experience using quality control principles, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and organization.
  • Experience communicating in working situations, both verbal and written.
  • SAP, CMES, and basic computer skills.
  • Experience working alone and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-process and final inspections of electronic and mechanical assemblies to determine product quality and acceptability of inspected items.
  • Perform Test Witnessing and Test Data verification to ensure functionality of deliverable units.
  • Raises notifications of non-conformance, quarantines non-conforming product and, when approved to do so, provides scrap or Standard Rework disposition.
  • Review Drawings and Process requirements to support compliance of production items to Technical Data Packages.
  • Interpret and adhere to quality standards, specifications, and procedures
  • Use measurement tools and equipment to verify product dimensions and quality
  • Document inspection results and maintain detailed records
  • Must maintain Inspection stamp.
  • Flexibility around shifts for training and to maintain workflow, to include overtime
  • Identify and report defects, deviations, and non-conformities
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes
  • Perform administrative tasks associated with file management and material control
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality
