About The Position

QA1 is looking for a talented Quality Inspector to join our team in Lakeville, Minnesota. Requirements

High school diploma or GED
At least 1 year in similar capacity; with desire to expand skills in this area
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and prints
Prior experience in inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, scales, etc.) with desire to expand skills in this area
Ability to independently use a variety of inspection tools (i.e. micrometers, calipers, scales, tape measure, indicators)
Demonstrable technical proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Person people want to work with
Excellent time management
Demonstrated advanced math, reading and English communication skills.
Comfortable with team interaction or alone under busy conditions with minimal supervision
Must be available and open to the idea of cross training + learning
Ability to meet physical requirements of the job including extended standing 8-10 hours a day with occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 60 lbs.
Must be able to effectively work in an environment requiring repetitive job responsibilities
Demonstrable strong technical proficiency with Microsoft Office products and capable of quickly training and becoming proficient with ERP system (Syteline)
Ability to work with a diverse team

Responsibilities

Inspect purchased and manufactured products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
Perform detailed inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products to detect defects or deviations.
Use precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to verify product dimensions and tolerances.
Review engineering drawings and work instructions to ensure accurate inspection and documentation.
Report non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
Support the development and implementation of quality control procedures and standards.
Stay current on industry best practices and expand quality control knowledge.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
