About The Position
The Quality Inspector will be responsible for conducting visual and measured inspections and tests of materials and products to ensure they meet all required standards and specifications. This role involves completing detailed inspection records and reports, adhering to relevant codes and regulations, and potentially inspecting incoming raw materials for the manufacturing process.
Requirements
- 1 year of related barge manufacturing Fit or Weld experience preferred
- Computer skills and basic understanding of MS Office Products
- Proficient in the use of inspection tools and measuring equipment
- Understand and apply inspection methods and techniques
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with coating techniques and/or inspection preferred
- Previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or construction environment is beneficial
- Previous experience in Fab Shop process is a plus
