The Quality Inspector performs assessments on various gas turbine components received for inspection by following written procedures, documents (blueprints, drawings, and specifications), and established practices. This role involves visual inspections, First Article Inspection Report inspections, and maintaining associated documentation. The inspector will interface with engineering and order execution to suggest improvements for work instructions and routers, and will generate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) in the QSI system. A key responsibility is reviewing job paperwork throughout the inspection process to ensure completeness and conformity. The position requires the use of precision measuring equipment for incoming assessments and the operation of small cranes to move equipment, parts, and materials. The role also includes maintaining a clean and orderly work area and adhering to Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) regulations in a fast-paced environment, including proper waste handling, spill containment, and cleanup. Other duties as assigned may be part of this role.
