About The Position

Our client in Taylor is searching for experienced Quality Inspectors for 1st shift (7a-3p), Monday-Friday with possible overtime. This is a contract-to-hire position with a starting pay of $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

  • Experienced Quality Inspectors
  • Reading and following work instruction plans, diagrams and specifications
  • Operating measuring tools and quality related equipment
  • Inspecting work in progress parts at various stages within the production process
  • Inspecting incoming raw material to ensure material meets customer and company specifications
  • Verifying that all completed parts meet specifications
  • Rejecting deficient parts and communicating these findings as directed
  • Coordinating and communicating inspection status and schedules to Quality Manager
  • Transporting parts to and from work areas as needed
  • Participating in PPAP and APQP activities, periodic audits and status meetings with company employees throughout the inspection process
  • Investigating and resolving any discrepancies in quantity or quality
  • Cleaning and maintaining work area free of excess goods
  • Performing other incidental and related duties as required
