About The Position
This role involves performing dimensional and visual inspections of machined components, assemblies, and finished products. The Quality Inspector will utilize CMM machines and Calypso software, and will be responsible for high-precision measurements and first-article inspections (FAI). Experience with non-conformance reports (NCRs) and Inspection Reports is also required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 5 years’ + experience in Quality Inspection
- 5 years + of experience performing manual inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and optical comparators.
- Ability to interpret blueprints; GD&T experience per ASME/ANSI standards.
- Experience with machined components in all phases of inspection, including receiving, first article, and final inspection.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience operating CMM equipment.
- Proven experience with manual inspection techniques and tools.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
Nice To Haves
- Experience with receiving inspection requirements, including FA inspection, is a plus.
