As a Quality Inspector, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our transformers and components meet the highest quality standards before they leave our facility. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous quality control, inspection, manufacturing, or production experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience using measuring tools and inspection equipment is a plus.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, climb, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and elevated noise levels.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety-toe footwear, eye protection, hearing protection, and gloves.
  • Strong visual acuity, depth perception, and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect finished transformer components to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Perform inspections on incoming materials according to military and company standards.
  • Support quality operations by inspecting finished components prior to testing.
  • Use measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances.
  • Examine surface finishes and coatings for defects, imperfections, or irregularities.
  • Identify, document, and communicate quality concerns and non-conformities.
  • Work closely with production and quality teams to maintain product excellence.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving quality-related issues.
  • Follow established inspection procedures to ensure accuracy, consistency, and customer satisfaction.
