Inspects incoming materials, molded and assembled parts and packaging for conformance to specifications. This includes inspecting molded parts for cycle time, physical defects, and critical measurements, performing functional tests, and verifying product compliance with established quality standards. The role involves releasing compliant molds, rejecting defective material, inspecting labels, assembled parts, and packaging for integrity and correctness. The inspector is also responsible for implementing corrective actions and documenting all decisions, releases, incidences, and re-work for the Quality Control Department. Additionally, the position requires maintaining a clean and orderly work area, wearing safety equipment, observing safety rules, and reporting unsafe conditions.
