Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of measurement tools
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to regularly lift heavy objects (50+ lbs.)
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with few breaks

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with ISO standards and industry regulations
  • Experience in quality inspection within the steel, tooling, or engineering industries

Responsibilities

  • Performing quality inspections on steel tools, components, and engineering materials during the 1st shift
  • Effectively using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measurement tools to check dimensions
  • Identifying and documenting defects and recommending corrective actions
  • Ensuring compliance with manufacturing standards and company guidelines
  • Preparing accurate inspection records and reports for quality control audits
  • Collaborating with production, engineering, and quality control teams to fix issues and enhance manufacturing processes
  • Driving continuous improvement and developing initiatives for elevating product quality and operational efficiency
