About The Position
The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all manufactured parts meet established quality standards before moving through production. This role involves hands-on inspection, accurate measurement, and proactive troubleshooting of quality concerns. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, is confident using precision tools, and thrives in a fast-paced production environment.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in recording measurements.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of inspection methods and measurement tools.
Responsibilities
- Inspect parts and components to verify they meet required specifications.
- Use precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Accurately document inspection results and maintain quality records.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and communicate quality concerns to production and leadership.
- Collaborate with team members and leadership to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
