About The Position

The employee will be working in the Pre-Process Inspection Area performing a variety of inspection and testing duties to insure that shipped products fulfill all customer specification and quality requirements.

Requirements

Experience with measuring devices is preferred: Faro Arm, CMM and calipers.
Must have good reading and math skills.
Familiarity with standard office equipment and software including personal computers, word processing, and spreadsheets.
Knowledge of and/or ability to learn and apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
Must pass a basic eye exam and demonstrate color perception (ability to perform color comparisons).
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly and 25 pounds occasionally.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
U.S. work authorization required.

Responsibilities

Ability to read, understand and learn customer specifications, Cygnus operating procedures, and work order instructions to certify part Quality Inspection and acceptance.
Perform physical and visual inspection of raw materials, fabricated parts, and equipment in accordance with work order, specifications, operating procedures, and other documentation.
Complete inspection task and required paper work accurately, in a timely manner.
Perform and document all inspection results, ensuring all planned quality requirements are met and when necessary, troubleshoot and initiate nonconformance reports and disposition all nonconforming items.
Follow scheduled priority list to ensure parts are shipped on time.
