About The Position

The End of Line (EOL) Quality Inspector is responsible for performing final inspections of finished window products to ensure they meet all quality, safety, and customer specifications prior to shipment. This role plays a critical part in protecting the customer experience by identifying defects, documenting rework, and initiating the Quality Stop Work process when necessary. The EOL Quality Inspector is expected to perform the following duties in accordance with established quality standards, work instructions, and safety requirements.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, labels, and monitor-based information.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
  • Basic documentation and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to use gauges
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or quality inspection is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workstation in alignment with 5S standards.
  • Follow all plant safety, quality, and operational procedures.
  • Maintain a 5S-compliant workstation, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and efficiency.
  • Pull completed windows into the EOL workstation parking spot.
  • Scan the window OPTIONS label and verify product configuration using the monitor.
  • Inspect for wavy nail fin and other visible defects.
  • Perform a complete 14-point quality inspection per standard work.
  • Conduct screen inspection to verify fit, condition, and functionality.
  • Verify lift handle cap installation.
  • Perform foam plug inspection.
  • Verify screw packet presence and accuracy; add packets as required.
  • Inspect weatherstripping for correct placement and condition.
  • Inspect Q-Lon for proper installation and integrity.
  • Retrieve and apply required labels, then stamp labels per procedure.
  • Insert sash clips as required by product configuration.
  • Accurately document rework and defects on required paperwork.
  • Follow the Safety/Quality Stop Work Process when safety/quality standards are not met.
  • Capture and report any Red Rabbits (recurring or critical quality issues) to Quality and Operations.
  • Communicate quality concerns clearly and promptly to leadership.
