Requirements
- Experience inspecting in a fabrication or manufacturing environment to drawings.
- Ability to read prints and GD&T without assistance.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools correctly, including calibration and recording.
- Consistent defect identification, even under schedule pressure.
- Accurate and complete paperwork on the first submission.
Nice To Haves
- Basic weld inspection knowledge (CWI or CAWI track).
- Exposure to NDT (Non-Destructive Testing).
- Experience with steel and structural products.
- Familiarity with QMS (Quality Management System) software.
Responsibilities
- Inspect fabrication and assembly work to drawings and specs, including dimensional, visual, and weld checks at defined points.
- Document findings cleanly, including inspection records, NCRs, and photos.
- Verify rework and manage the disposition of items tagged red.
- Log findings to identify trends and facilitate fixes.
