About The Position

Ultra Clean Technology (UCT) is seeking a Quality Inspector for its Services team in Phoenix, Arizona. The role ensures service processes meet customer, regulatory, and contamination-control standards through advanced inspections, audits, and quality-system activities. It leads structured problem-solving, including 8D investigations, to resolve quality issues, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence. The position also provides technical expertise in process validation, defect analysis, and compliance, and mentors junior team members in a cleanroom-based environment. The role performs inspections across precision cleaning, coating, refurbishment, and incoming, in-process, and final inspection workflows. It reviews inspection results before product release; maintains quality records and nonconformance and deviation documentation; conducts audits; analyzes quality data and trends; and supports KPI reporting and statistical analysis. The Quality Inspector works with Operations, Engineering, Suppliers, and Customer Quality teams, supports customer audits and escalations, and trains and mentors QA Technicians and Inspectors. The role also promotes a safe, clean, compliant workplace and adherence to cleanroom, contamination-control, and ESD requirements. The posting inconsistently refers to the position as both Quality Inspector III and Quality Inspector IV; the title above is presented without a level qualifier.
