About The Position

Arcosa Traffic Structures is looking for a Quality Inspector. In this position, you will perform basic quality control testing and inspection of standard parts, units, equipment, or materials to ensure conformance with standards and determine if the product meets all requirements.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience in steel fabrication/welding
• Minimum of Level 2 MT Certification
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a QC Inspector or related role
• Ability to read and interpret detailed shop drawings
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

• Level 2 UT Certification preferred
• CWI Certification preferred
• Experience in the use of welding inspection tools and measuring equipment preferred
• Familiar with AWS structural welding codes and standards preferred

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming and outgoing materials, the fit up of assemblies, parts, and welds throughout the manufacturing process
• Inspect coatings (Galvanizing/Paint) prior to shipment
• Perform magnetic particle inspection
• Follow all safety rules and practices
• Fill-in as needed so that production goals can be met
• May be involved in safety committees or initiatives
• Other duties as assigned
