About the role: The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing inspections and tests to ensure products meet defined quality standards and specifications. This role supports product quality by identifying defects early and ensuring consistent adherence to inspection processes. This role may support production across different shifts and environments, including cleanroom operations, and must maintain high attention to detail in controlled and precision manufacturing settings.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing or inspection roles preferred
  • Experience using measurement tools and inspection equipment
  • Experience working in cleanroom or controlled environments preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and technical documentation
  • Basic understanding of measurement tools and inspection techniques
  • Ability to identify defects and deviations from standards
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Regular presence on the manufacturing floor and cleanroom environments
  • May require use of PPE, including cleanroom garments
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods depending on task
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections according to defined procedures
  • Document inspection results accurately and in a timely manner
  • Identify and report nonconforming materials or products
  • Support containment activities to prevent defects from progressing
  • Use measurement tools and equipment to verify product specifications
  • Follow standard work instructions and quality procedures consistently
  • Maintain inspection records and support traceability requirements
  • Communicate issues clearly to supervisors and relevant teams
  • Support quality needs across shifts as assigned
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues
