About The Position

As a Weld Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of our welded products. You will be responsible for inspecting and evaluating welds for defects, compliance with specifications, and adherence to quality standards. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of welding processes, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Hours: M-Th 1:30 pm-12 am.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Previous experience as a welder or weld inspector OR non-destructive testing certification/BA required
• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to read weld blueprints
• High School Diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

• Checks every part to verify part number with the label
• Checks every part for physical defect
• Identifies defective parts requiring rework
• Verifies correct quantities per work order
• Interpret weld blueprints
• Completes MDR’s
