About The Position

TempStaff is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to support a quality inspection contractor working on a project at a major automotive supplier in the Canton, MS area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are reliable, safety-conscious, and interested in gaining experience in the automotive manufacturing industry. All selected candidates must complete one week of paid training on 1st shift before transitioning to the assigned schedule.

Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds throughout the shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality are required.
  • Must be able to successfully complete 1st shift training before transitioning to 3rd shift.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing or quality inspection experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect automotive parts and components for defects or quality concerns.
  • Perform visual inspections according to customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Sort, rework, or contain non-conforming materials as instructed.
  • Document inspection results accurately and completely.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all safety procedures and work instructions.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to meet production and quality goals.
