About The Position
TempStaff is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to support a quality inspection contractor working on a project at a major automotive supplier in the Canton, MS area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are reliable, safety-conscious, and interested in gaining experience in the automotive manufacturing industry. All selected candidates must complete one week of paid training on 1st shift before transitioning to the assigned schedule.
Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality are required.
- Must be able to successfully complete 1st shift training before transitioning to 3rd shift.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing or quality inspection experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Inspect automotive parts and components for defects or quality concerns.
- Perform visual inspections according to customer specifications and quality standards.
- Sort, rework, or contain non-conforming materials as instructed.
- Document inspection results accurately and completely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and work instructions.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet production and quality goals.
