About The Position

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions has an immediate opening for a Quality Inspector in Mossville, IL. This role acts as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria. The Quality Inspector performs quality inspection/audits on incoming material using hand gaging and visual techniques to determine conformance to specifications and fitness for use. This position involves containing and rectifying non-conforming parts and/or sub-assemblies through rework, sorting, or scrapping as directed by a Team Leader. Methods may include de-rusting, grinding, drilling, tapping, assembly, and/or disassembly. The inspector will determine the necessary tools and equipment for the job and may grind, sand, clean, and oil parts and/or sub-assemblies using hand tools or equipment. Communication of sort/inspection results to managers, supervisors, and the production source is essential. The role requires the use of basic hand tools such as gaging, drills, taps, grinders, and/or sanders for repair and cleaning, and utilization of the company portal for time recording and policy acknowledgements.

• 1+ year in Quality related position.
• Basic knowledge of materials and production processes.
• Basic knowledge of quality control methods.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• MUST be able to use basic hand tools such as gaging, drills, taps, grinders and/or sanders to repair and/or clean parts and/or sub-assemblies.

Responsibilities
