The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for inspecting raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with company quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. The role involves conducting inspections, documenting findings, identifying defects, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of inspection methods, quality standards, and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.

  • technical diploma, or associate degree in a related field is preferred
  • Experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or quality control preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of materials and products.
  • Verify compliance with specifications, drawings, standards, and procedures.
  • Conduct sampling and testing according to quality control plans.
  • Identify and document non-conforming materials and products.
  • Record inspection results accurately and maintain quality records.
  • Prepare inspection reports and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
  • Review production documentation and quality records for completeness.
  • Maintain traceability of inspected products and materials.
  • Assist with investigations of quality issues and customer complaints.
  • Support corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities.
  • Participate in internal audits and quality improvement programs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and quality management systems.
