About The Position

As a Quality Inspector you will inspect and approve parts from both internal manufacturing and external suppliers, ensuring they meet strict quality standards. In the Quality Inspector role, you will work under moderate supervision, you’ll play a key part in maintaining product integrity for industries such as aerospace, medical, and precision manufacturing. The Quality Inspector position will work at our Oberg Sarver, PA location and we have both daylight shifts and night shifts available. Requirements

  • Pass eye exam (with or without correction) required for aerospace final inspection role.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Strong written, verbal, or other forms of communication skills.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or be able to comply with U.S. export regulations.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship.
  • Ability to wear personal protection equipment, such as earplugs, safety glasses, and safety shoes.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
  • At least 1 year in a quality position or 2 years in manufacturing required.

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous hands-on experience in medical device, contract manufacturing, apprenticeship programs, or quality roles required.
  • Familiarity with ISO, TS, or related quality management systems strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform part inspections using calipers, micrometers, microscopes, indicators, comparators, and precision gages.
  • Operate touch probe/vision coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for verification (no programming required).
  • Compare parts against specified dimensions, tolerances, and finish requirements.
  • Inspect for size, surface finish, overall appearance, and other critical features.
  • Evaluate inspection results, determine part acceptability, and seek approval for deviations.
  • Troubleshoot equipment or system issues using test equipment and prior experience.
  • Package parts securely for shipment.
  • Comply with all company quality system standards, safety, and security procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
