About The Position

The Quality Inspector (QA/QC Technician) ensures that energy storage products, components, and on-site installations adhere to strict quality standards. This role performs detailed inspections, manages non-conforming materials, conducts root cause analysis (RCA), and maintains comprehensive documentation for battery energy storage systems (BESS).

Requirements

• Proven history in QA/QC roles, specifically within energy storage, manufacturing, or construction environments.
• High computer literacy with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Familiarity with quality methodologies (e.g., Lean, 5S) and proficiency with ERP and Quality Management Software.
• Strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Execute Inspections and Test Plans (ITP) for equipment installation, commissioning, and manufacturing milestones.
• Capture comprehensive photo documentation and draft highly accurate, detailed quality reports.
• Oversee and direct third-party contractors during system remediation activities to resolve technical issues.
• Identify, flag, and document defective materials or workmanship while tracking non-conformance reports (NCRs) to completion.
• Prepare, oversee, and maintain turnover documentation, quality audits, and weekly/monthly project quality reports.
• Partner with Project Managers and subcontractors to enforce quality standards and safety protocols.
• Perform rigorous RCA on quality issues to prevent recurrence.
