About The Position

Empire Coating Inc. is hiring a Quality Inspector for a hands-on, detail-oriented production role. The inspector works at a designated inspection table processing repeat customer parts. The role involves visually inspecting painted parts for defects, removing masking materials, and performing minor paint touch-ups as needed to ensure finished parts meet customer requirements. The inspector learns customer- and part-specific requirements and applies them consistently while maintaining accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect painted parts for defects, imperfections, and areas requiring attention.
• Remove masking materials such as tape, plugs, and liquid mask after processing.
• Identify common paint defects and other imperfections.
• Perform minor paint touch-ups as needed and ensure the work blends appropriately with the surrounding finish.
• Follow customer-specific work instructions and inspection requirements.
• Maintain consistent quality while processing repeat production parts.
• Recheck parts after touch-up to confirm the finished product meets requirements.
• Keep the inspection area clean, organized, and safe.
• Communicate questions or concerns to the Lead or Supervisor.
• Follow company safety and quality procedures.
