About The Position

Marathon Electric, now part of WEG Group, is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure finished generators and related components meet quality standards before shipment. This role involves inspecting products throughout the production process, identifying nonconforming materials, documenting results, and collaborating with production and quality teams to ensure product compliance and customer satisfaction. Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Basic computer skills
• Experience using precision measuring equipment such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience using Microsoft Excel to log red tags, inspection data, and final test results

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished products prior to shipment to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications
• Perform inspections of subassemblies and components throughout the production process
• Identify and tag nonconforming materials using established red tag procedures
• Document inspection results and nonconformances according to company quality processes
• Communicate quality issues with production and quality teams to support corrective action
• Maintain accurate records of inspection findings and test results
