About The Position

The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet set quality and safety standards. This role involves performing inspections, organizing quality reviews, preparing documentation, and communicating findings to management and various departments. The position requires a strong understanding of quality control techniques and standards, as well as the ability to work safely and efficiently in both office and distribution center environments.

Requirements

High School diploma or General Educational Development test equivalent
Self-starter with strong work ethics, positive attitude and strong attention to detail
Ability to do basic math and basic computer skills
Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal
Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
Physical strength to lift to 50 lbs. and physical stamina to stand all day
Reliable and Trustworthy
A valid state driver’s license
Reliable transportation to travel between locations, distribution and corporate offices
Meticulous attention to detail

Nice To Haves

Minimum two years of experience in quality inspection or related field is preferred

Responsibilities

Perform all work in a manner that is safe for you and fellow co-workers
Organize inspections to review and report quality issues using AQL inspection techniques and software
Prepares quality documentation and reports to present to management team
Report all discrepancies with visual aids as well as written communication.
Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership of quality findings
Recognize current standards and policies (ASTM, CSA, NFPA, etc.) and assure all standards are met
Keep records of quality reports, and relevant documentation
Communicate with Quality Manager during inspections
Collaborating with various departments regarding inspection
Ensure products meet set quality and safety standards
Ability to differentiate between colors and shades of color
